Sri Lanka, April 24 -- India and Pakistan have taken retaliatory measures following a deadly attack in Kashmir, with both countries cancelling visas for each other's nationals, foreign media reports.

India announced it would revoke all visas issued to Pakistani citizens and close the only functioning land border crossing, while also suspending a crucial water-sharing treaty.

In response, Pakistan closed its airspace to Indian-owned airlines and halted all trade with India.

The attack, which killed 26 people, was blamed by India on Pakistan, though no direct evidence was provided.

Pakistan denied any involvement, condemning India's actions as "belligerent."
