Sri Lanka, April 25 -- IMF staff and the Sri Lankan authorities have reached a staff-level agreement on economic policies to conclude the Fourth Review of Sri Lanka's reform program supported by the IMF's Extended Fund Facility.
Once the review is approved by the IMF Executive Board, Sri Lanka will have access to about USD 344 million in financing, as part of the 5th tranche of funds.
This would bring the total IMF financial support disbursed under the arrangement to about USD 1.7 billion.
In a statement, the IMF said that program performance remains strong overall, with economic growth rebounding.
