Sri Lanka, Feb. 18 -- The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is scheduled to meet on February 28, 2025, to discuss and approve the third review of Sri Lanka's Extended Fund Facility (EFF) programme.
The IMF had earlier stated that the release of the fourth tranche of Sri Lanka's EFF programme depends on the Executive Board's approval, which is contingent upon the implementation of prior actions by the Sri Lankan authorities, including the submission of the 2025 Budget, in line with the program's parameters.
