Sri Lanka, June 10 -- Dr. Gita Gopinath, First Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka on the 15th and 16th of June. This marks the first visit by an IMF First Deputy Managing Director to Sri Lanka since 2005.
During her visit, Dr. Gopinath will be the guest speaker at a conference titled "Sri Lanka's Road to Recovery: Debt and Governance," jointly organised by the Ministry of Finance, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, and the IMF.
