Sri Lanka, Jan. 16 -- A fact-finding mission from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) arrives in Sri Lanka next week to evaluate the impact of Cyclone 'Ditva'. Julie Kozack, the IMF Communications Director, confirmed the team will stay in the country from January 22 to 28.

The visit focuses primarily on assessing the economic and physical destruction caused by the recent storm. Additionally, the delegation will discuss how these damages might affect the policy actions outlined under Sri Lanka's Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program.
