Sri Lanka, June 4 -- The Central Anti-Corruption Task Force has uncovered what it called the country's largest illegal liquor operation during a raid in the Othekele area, Ja-Ela.

The factory was allegedly run by Saman Kumara, alias 'Mana', a so-called king of illegal liquor smuggling in Sri Lanka.

More than 30 police officers participated in the operation, with one suspect taken into custody as investigations continue.
