Sri Lanka, Oct. 31 -- Inspector General of Police (IGP) Priyantha Weerasooriya announced today (31) that he will bring the security requests made by Opposition Parliament members to the attention of the President and the Minister of Public Security.

He made this statement during a meeting held today in Parliament with Opposition Parliament members, chaired by the Speaker.

A special discussion regarding the security of Opposition Parliament members was held today in Parliament, chaired by Speaker Dr.Jagath Wickramaratne and attended by IGP Priyantha Weerasooriya.
