Sri Lanka, Feb. 16 -- The Ministry of Education is closely monitoring schoolchildren's behavior in response to the ongoing hot weather affecting Sri Lanka. Secretary of the Ministry Nalaka Kaluwewa informed Hiru News that the ministry will consider recommendations from health authorities regarding the conduct of school activities during this period.

Kaluwewa stated that discussions will take place tomorrow to issue necessary instructions to school principals. He emphasized that students should minimize exposure to sunlight while participating in co-curricular activities and sports training.
