Sri Lanka, March 19 -- Hiru Media Network claimed multiple awards at the 2025 SLIM KANTAR People's Awards Ceremony held at Monarch Imperial Hotel, Jayawardenapura.

Hiru TV was named the Most Popular Television Channel of the Year, while Hiru FM won both the Most Popular Radio Channel of the Year and the Youth Radio Channel of the Year titles. Hiru News was recognized as the Most Popular News Provider of the Year once again.

The DJ Ara & Pasbara program on Hiru FM secured the Most Popular Radio Program of the Year award. Sooriyan FM was named the Most Popular Tamil Radio Channel of the Year.
