Sri Lanka, Oct. 10 -- The Hiru Gamin Gamata Programme launched with the objective of raising awareness among authorities regarding problems people face in villages across the country and providing solutions for them was carried out yesterday centered on the Trincomalee - Kantale - Vaan Ela village.

Authorities were informed about problems in the village and an opportunity was granted for them to participate in live programmes. Hiru FM also handed over a number of gifts among the villagers.
