Sri Lanka, Sept. 7 -- The Hiru Media Network has launched its annual 'Hiru Seela Paramitha' programme today (7) in observance of the Binara Full Moon Poya Day.

The event is being held at the historic Buttala Yudaganava Rajamaha Viharaya.

Monks and participants began the morning with meditation and observance of the Eightfold Precepts under the guidance of Ven. Nandarathana Thera.

A series of religious sermons are scheduled throughout the day.

Ven. Kothmale Kumarakassapa Thera will deliver a sermon at 7:30 AM, followed by a special Dhamma discussion at 8:30 AM with Ven. Padalangala Dhamma Deva Thera and Senior Lecturer Senarathne Kariyawasam.

At 11:00 AM, a poetic Dhamma sermon will be presented by Ven. Hasalaka Sumith Thera.
