Sri Lanka, Feb. 3 -- Health Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa has directed officials to take necessary steps to regulate all products and ingredients in the Ayurvedic medicines and cosmetics sector, emphasizing close attention to these items.

He made the statement during a ceremony to present appointment letters to the new Chairman and members of the Ayurvedic Medicines and Products Council at the Rajagiriya Ayurvedic National Hospital.

Dr. Jayatissa highlighted that the aim is to ensure the public receives quality and standardized products through effective regulation.
