Sri Lanka, Oct. 18 -- Attorney-at-Law Gunaratne Wanninayake appeared at the Mount Lavinia Police Station today (18 October) to provide a statement in accordance with bail conditions regarding the incident pertaining to the alleged obstruction of a police officer's duty within the Mount Lavinia court complex.

His son also accompanied him, and a group of other lawyers were present at the occasion.

The incident, which involved a verbal dispute between Attorney Gunaratne Wanninayake, Attorney Sajitha Anthony, and a Police Constable of the Mount Lavinia Police, occurred on the 10th of this month in front of the Mount Lavinia Magistrate's Court.
