Sri Lanka, May 14 -- An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 struck off the island of Crete in Greece earlier today.
The German Research Centre for Geosciences said that the quake was recorded at a depth of 83 km.
The centre reported no casualties or property damage, although the quake was felt by residents in Egypt, Turkiye, Lebanon, Israel, and Jordan.
