Sri Lanka, Feb. 2 -- The Education Graduates' Union will maintain their demonstration in front of the Isurupaya Ministry of Education until the government provides a formal assurance regarding their recruitment. Representative Pradeep Dilshan Ilangasinghe stated that nearly one thousand education graduates are prepared to continue the protest, which began this morning.

The union points out that while the government plans to gazette 23,344 teaching vacancies, it has reportedly decided not to include these specific graduates in the recruitment process.
