Sri Lanka, Feb. 12 -- GovPay, the online payment platform designed to facilitate digital transactions for government services, has marked one year of digital public service transformation, processing Rs. 2.7 billion in digital transactions during its first year of operations.

During this period, GovPay connected 252 institutions and recorded over 133,000 transactions. The platform has also enabled 3,783 citizen services, strengthening accessibility and convenience in public service delivery.

One year on, GovPay continues to drive secure and inclusive government payments, including Rs. 121.4 million processed through online traffic fine payments, further reinforcing digital payments across Sri Lanka.
