Sri Lanka, Oct. 30 -- The GovPay platform, established to facilitate digital payments for state services, has successfully processed Rs. 500 million in payments for taxes, fines, educational fees, and other services.

This amount was generated through 37,715 transactions across various sectors.

This project, operating under the supervision of the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) and the Central Bank, will enable state service financial transactions to be conducted with accuracy and transparency.
