Sri Lanka, Sept. 1 -- The government has launched a special four-day programme, named "Seiri Week," to remove unnecessary items that have accumulated in state institutions.
The initiative begins today (1).
The primary objective is to create a clean, healthy, and suitable environment for public officers to perform their duties efficiently.
To facilitate the programme, the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils, and Local Government has issued a special circular.
It was sent to secretaries of all ministries, provincial chief secretaries, heads of departments, district secretaries, and heads of state corporations and statutory boards.
