Sri Lanka, Sept. 7 -- Police say that investigations are still ongoing regarding the consignment of chemicals believed to be used for "ice" (crystal methamphetamine) production, which was imported into the country.
The operation to unearth the chemicals, which were buried behind a house in the Thalawa area of Middeniya, is continuing for a second day today.
The discovery of an "ice" production factory run by "Kehelbaddara Padme" in Nuwara Eliya was a result of these investigations.
