Sri Lanka, Feb. 19 -- Alleged organized crime gang leader Ganemulla Sanjeewa was shot near the Aluthkade court today.

He was scheduled to be produced before the court when the attack took place.

Ganemulla Sanjeewa has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital after sustaining critical injuries from a shooting incident in front of the Hulftsdorp Court House.

This was confirmed by the Deputy Director General of Colombo National Hospital.
