Sri Lanka, Feb. 24 -- The Colombo Crimes Division informed the court today that three more suspects arrested in connection with the Ganemulla Sanjeewa murder will be detained in police custody for 48 hours for further questioning.
The suspects were presented before Colombo Additional Magistrate Harshana Kekunawala, who permitted the police to continue investigations and ordered updates on the probe.
The three suspects were arrested for allegedly possessing and supplying the firearm used in the murder, as well as for transporting the shooter and a suspect named Ishara Sewwandi in a three-wheeler.
