Sri Lanka, June 12 -- Pivithuru Hela Urumaya leader Udaya Gammanpila held a press conference in Colombo yesterday (11) to raise concerns regarding the release of a prisoner whose name was not in the president's pardon list.

Addressing the media, Gammanpila claimed that the responsibility for this serious oversight does not lie solely with the Prisons Commissioner but extends to other senior government officials as well.
