Sri Lanka, Feb. 23 -- The funeral of Aruna Vidanagamage, alias Kajja, and his two children, who were killed in a shooting in Middeniya, was held this afternoon at the cemetery in Weeraketiya - Medamulana. The children's mother, who had returned from abroad, was among those in attendance.

Police have arrested three suspects in connection with the shooting, including a police constable. The suspects have been detained for 72 hours for questioning.

Mourners, including the children's mother, were visibly emotional as they paid their final respects to the victims.
