Sri Lanka, April 27 -- The funeral of veteran singer Saman De Silva, who passed away at the age of 69, is scheduled to be held next Tuesday (29).

Family sources said his remains are expected to be brought to his home in Angulana, Moratuwa, tomorrow (28).

Saman de Silva was a popular figure in Sri Lankan music, known for numerous beloved songs such as "Niyare Piyanagala," "Punchi Kurulu Kuduwe," "Santhosa Wenne Preethiwenne," and "Purahanda Naguna."
