Sri Lanka, March 25 -- Former State Minister S. Viyalanderan has been remanded in custody until the 1st of next month by the Aluthkade Magistrate's Court.

He was arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) on charges of abetting the receipt of a bribe and was later produced before the court.
