Sri Lanka, June 27 -- Former Chairman of SriLankan Airlines Nishantha Wickramasinghe, was arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption today (27).

The arrest was made over an investigation into alleged irregularities concerning the procurement of aircraft during his tenure.

Wickramasinghe is the brother-in-law of Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
