Sri Lanka, Dec. 14 -- The Police have stated that the investigation reports required to determine whether former Speaker Ashoka Ranwala was under the influence of alcohol at the time of a recent traffic collision have not yet been received.
Ranwala's SUV collided with a motorbike and a car in the Denimala area of Sapugaskanda on the night of 10 December. A seven-month-old infant, the child's mother, and grandmother, who were in the car, were injured.
The infant was admitted to Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children, while the mother and grandmother were taken to the Colombo National Hospital.
