Sri Lanka, Oct. 14 -- Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has denied owning a building situated near the Menik Ganga in Kataragama.

In a post on his social media account, the former President stated that he has never had any reason or intention to construct or maintain any building in the Kataragama area.

He asserted that the news circulating in the media regarding his ownership of the building is completely false.
