Sri Lanka, Aug. 9 -- Former State Minister Lohan Ratwatte has been admitted to a private hospital in Colombo for a pre-planned surgery.

Reports state that he had been receiving treatment for a liver-related condition for several months.

Following the conclusion of the surgery, he is currently under medical supervision.

It is also reported that several former presidents visited him at the hospital yesterday (8) August to inquire about his health.
