Sri Lanka, May 24 -- Former Minister Duminda Dissanayake, who was arrested in connection with the ownership of a gold-plated T-56 firearm found in the Havelock City luxury housing complex, is scheduled to be produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate's Court today (24).

He was arrested yesterday (23), by the Terrorism Investigation Division (TID) while staying at a housing complex in the Bambalapitiya area, and has since been undergoing interrogation.

The gold-plated firearm was discovered in the suitcase of a woman resident of the Havelock City housing complex last Tuesday (20).
