Sri Lanka, May 29 -- Former Minister and Sri Lanka Freedom Party National Organiser, Duminda Dissanayake, has been remanded until the 5th of next month.
The order was issued by the Mount Lavinia Chief Magistrate, over the discovery of a gold plated T-56 firearm at the Havelock City apartment complex in Wellawatte.
Meanwhile, Amali Nayanika Rambukwella, the daughter of remanded former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, was summoned to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption today (29).
The inquiry is related to an ongoing case against her father.
