Sri Lanka, June 26 -- Former Secretary to the Health Ministry, Janaka Chandragupta, was arrested today (26) by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.

He was taken into custody after arriving at the commission to provide a statement concerning the alleged importation of substandard medicines.
