Sri Lanka, Sept. 8 -- According to information revealed by "Backhoe Saman," who was arrested in Indonesia and brought back to Sri Lanka, a foreign intelligence agency had informed Sri Lankan authorities that two containers carrying chemical substances for manufacturing "Ice" drugs had arrived at the port.
These containers were later discovered in a garden in Middeniya.
It is reported that the containers were taken into customs custody, and even the Police Narcotics Bureau inspected them before releasing them. The containers were released last January and were picked up by a regular individual.
The chemical substances for producing "Ice" were reportedly hidden among tile materials and smuggled from Iran.
