Sri Lanka, Feb. 22 -- The Railway Department announced that five train journeys scheduled for this morning and evening have been canceled due to maintenance work at the Pangirivatta railway crossing on the Kelani Valley railway line.

The affected trains include the slow train from Colombo Fort to Avissawella at 8:30 a.m., the slow train from Colombo Fort to Padukka at 1:55 p.m., the semi-express train from Colombo Fort to Avissawella at 4:00 p.m., the slow train from Avissawella to Colombo Fort at 12:25 p.m., and the semi-express train from Padukka to Colombo Fort at 3:45 p.m.
