Sri Lanka, July 19 -- The Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources has issued a strong warning to all fishing communities, urging them to avoid fishing activities in the sea areas from Puttalam to Pottuvil, via Colombo, Galle, and Hambantota, due to prevailing adverse weather conditions around the island.
According to the latest advisories from the Department of Meteorology, these sea areas are expected to be rough over the next few days.
