Sri Lanka, Feb. 26 -- The Sri Lanka Vehicle Importers Association announced that the first batch of used cars from Thailand has arrived at the Colombo Port.

Association Secretary Arosha Rodrigo stated that future imports will include vehicles from Japan, England, and Australia.

Meanwhile, with the government easing import restrictions, the second batch of used cars is set to arrive at the Hambantota Port the day after tomorrow.

Port sources confirmed that 196 vehicles are scheduled to reach the country.
