Sri Lanka, June 2 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has announced that Finance Ministry Secretary Mahinda Siriwardena will resign from his post at the end of this month.

Speaking at the inauguration of National Tax Week, the President announced that Siriwardena will be taking on a new role as an Alternate Executive Director at the Asian Development Bank, representing seven countries, including Sri Lanka.
