Sri Lanka, Feb. 6 -- A high-end car travelling from Pinnaduwa toward Galle collided with a motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction near the Nugaduwa traffic lights last night. Two individuals travelling on the motorcycle lost their lives, while another sustained serious injuries and remains hospitalised at the Galle National Hospital, according to local reports.

The deceased are identified as a 37-year-old resident of Idigasdeniya, Walahanduwa, and his 16-year-old son. Police stated that a 23-year-old man who was also on the motorcycle is currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit.
