Sri Lanka, June 10 -- 1 person has died on the spot following a collision between 2 motorcycles in Medwachchiya last night (9).

The deceased has been identified as a 31-year-old resident of Kebithigollewa.

The rider and pillion rider of the other motorcycle involved in the accident sustained injuries and have been admitted to Anuradhapura Hospital for treatment.

Medawachchiya Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
