SriLanka, Jan. 12 -- A horrific collision in the Navadankulama area of Mundalama has claimed the lives of three people, including two women, this morning.

According to the Mundalama Police, the tragedy occurred when a car and a van collided head-on on the Puttalam-Colombo main road.

The van was travelling from Puttalam towards Colombo, while the car was heading from Horana towards Puttalam at the time of the crash.

Ten people who sustained serious injuries were rushed to the Puttalam Base Hospital.
