Sri Lanka, May 2 -- Sri Lanka's merchandise export earnings have gone up in March 2025, according to data from the Central Bank.
Sri Lanka recorded inflows of USD 1,241.7 million in merchandise exports, which is an 8.1% increase from the same period in 2024.
Services exports were up 6.5% compared to 2024, at USD 665 million.
Merchandise Imports for the month stood at USD 1,637 million, which is up 8.6% compared to March 2024.
Services outflows were at USD 271.7 million, up 8.2% Year-on-Year.
Worker remittances were USD 693 million, compared to USD 572 million in 2024.
