Sri Lanka, Aug. 2 -- A meeting has taken place between the British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Andrew Patrick, and the Minister of Energy, Kumara Jayakody.

The meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy.

The two officials discussed strengthening energy sector relations between Sri Lanka and the UK.

The Ministry of Energy stated that there was also a detailed exchange of information regarding plans and future steps for Sri Lanka's electricity sector.
