Sri Lanka, Feb. 9 -- A new train service, Ella Odyssey Nanu Oya, will operate between Nanu Oya and Badulla Railway Station from tomorrow (10), the General Manager of Railways, Dhammika Jayasundara, announced. The service was introduced on the instructions of Transport Minister Bimal Ratnayake to meet the demand from local and foreign tourists.

The train will slow down at scenic locations, stopping for six minutes at Idalgashinna Railway Station and 10 minutes at the Nine Arch Bridge.

Operating every day except Tuesdays, the train will depart Nanu Oya for Badulla at 8:10 a.m. and return at 8:10 p.m. It will also operate from Badulla to Nanu Oya at 1:00 p.m.
