Sri Lanka, June 17 -- The Election Commission announced that the names of 223 more councilors are expected to be gazetted out of the total of 8,795 elected in the local government elections. Commission Chairman R.M.A.L. Ratnayake stated at a press conference in Colombo yesterday that some political parties and independent groups have yet to submit the names of their elected members to the Commission.
