Sri Lanka, Dec. 5 -- Egypt expressed its heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Sri Lanka following the recent floods that have resulted in hundreds of casualties.

In a statement issued today (5), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs reaffirmed its full solidarity with Sri Lanka during this tragic event.

The ministry extended sincere sympathy to the families of the victims and conveyed wishes for a swift recovery to all those injured.
