Sri Lanka, June 28 -- A workshop was held today at the Ministry of Education to educate senior staff on how artificial intelligence can be used to transform the public service into a more productive and efficient sector.

This initiative marks an initial step in the digitisation of public services, aiming to prepare officials and foster a positive attitude towards AI within the public sector.

Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanyake, who participated in the event, stated that using AI could significantly enhance the quality of the education sector with timely value.
