Sri Lanka, Oct. 28 -- Rockslides and earth slips have been reported at multiple locations along the Panwila-Bambaralla road in Panwila, Kandy, according to local correspondents.

The road has been damaged by falling rocks and collapsing earth banks, disrupting travel and posing hazards to residents and motorists. Locals say the risk of further incidents remains high along the route.

Authorities have also warned that due to heavy rainfall across the Central Hills, several other areas are at risk of earth slips and rockfalls.
