Sri Lanka, July 6 -- The Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) has announced that the electronic Revenue Licence system, eRL 2.0, is currently unavailable.

This disruption is due to a critical technical infrastructure issue that began on July 3, 2025.

The ICTA anticipates that vehicle revenue licence issuance services will remain inaccessible until July 9, 2025.

The agency stated it's working to restore the system as quickly as possible and will issue an official notice once services resume.
