Sri Lanka, June 22 -- The driver of the bus involved in yesterday's fatal incident in Badulla's Dunhinda area has been remanded until the 4th of July.
The order was issued today by the Badulla Magistrate.
The crash, which occurred around 5 PM yesterday, resulted in the deaths of a woman, a young girl, and another individual.
31 others were hospitalised.
Initial investigations suggest the incident was caused by brake failure.
It has also emerged that the person driving the bus at the time was not the regular driver, but a Sri Lanka Transport Board conductor from Thambuththegama who possesses a bus driver's licence.
