Sri Lanka, July 28 -- The driver of the vehicle used to clear and transport trees from along the roads has been arrested following a fatal collision near Borella Cemetery this morning (28), where the vehicle lost control and collided with several other vehicles.

A 62-year-old man died in the incident, and four others were critically injured. They are currently receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital.

The vehicle, which reportedly went out of control, struck four motorcycles and two cars that were travelling on the road.

At the time of the incident, the area experienced severe traffic congestion, but police have confirmed that the situation has since returned to normal.
